The third edition in our Derby Tour series:
May 1, 1976: Hall of Fame Jockey, Angel Cordero Jr. wins the 102nd running of the Kentucky Derby in just over 2 minutes atop Bold Forbes from the second post. I wish I could say there was a specific tie to Cordero or Bold Forbes…but the inspiration for this design was a vintage concert tee…and 1976 just seemed like a great year for concerts! DERBY TOUR ‘76!
